Tichaona started his career as a secondary school teacher before joining the corporate world. He has lived and worked in Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Finland in various companies including T-Mobile and Amazon.com. Tichaona has multi-disciplinary background and skill sets. His experience in the corporate world helped him develop skills as an accomplished team leader, strategist, innovator and negotiator. After many years of work in the corporate world, he decided to pivot his career. Tichaona relocated to Finland to pursue further studies in International Law, Global Politics, Business Administration, and Development studies completing three master's degrees and a Graduate diploma. Upon completing his studies, he decided to revive his childhood entrepreneurship dream. Partnering with Pekka, AfriKonekta was born. Tichaona brings a global perspective to AfriKonekta, uniquely qualified to make significant contributions in Tech & Innovation, HR, Product Design & Development, Operations, Customer Success and Business Strategy.

Pekka is a transportation and mobility visionary (Transport entrepreneur, innovator, and Market Disruptor). He has been in the transportation sector for over 30 years at various senior leadership roles revolutionising the mobility market globally. Pekka has also saved as a CEO at Tuup Ltd and Kyyti Group Ltd. He is well known for co-founding Finland's leading low-cost intercity bus operator (Onnibus.com) which thoroughly disrupted the Finnish intercity business by introducing digital sales channel and new business model to the market. As a serial entrepreneur, Pekka live and breathe entrepreneurship, He loves all the dynamics, from the strategy to the execution. As an accomplished and resourceful entrepreneur, He leverages his experience, network and expertise to help founders achieve their goals. Pekka holds a master's degree in Accounting & Business/Management. He is responsible for Business intelligence, Strategic Brand Creation & Management, Partnership Development/External Relations, and Finance & Administration.
